This online panel is the opening content piece for the 200 participants of our DEI Bootcamp and therefore should function as an intro to the topic of DEI while highlighting its relevance with relation to the current market dynamics and the economic downturn. Over 90% of unconscious bias trainings are being ineffective, as the job is not done with "just" making mental shortcuts visible. In this session Amelia and Viktoria provide you with the fundamental knowledge about unconscious bias and a clear roadmap on how to turn your company's biases into an inclusive mindset. This leads to not only to making better business decisions - e.g. in hiring or when it comes to promotions - but also creates a more inclusive company culture where all employees can belong.

But what is a successful, inclusive leader, and where is the best place to start? Which personal characteristics and which structural conditions influence inclusive leadership? We will discuss these and other topics in the workshop. Feel free to bring specific questions or cases that we can discuss as examples.
